A.  Three Layer Sandwich with silver reflector

With this new technology the light spectrum is converted to electrical current more efficiently. In the process three ultra thin layers are put on top of each other, which separately convert the blue, green and (infra-) red photons.  The remaining light is reflected by the bottom silver layer and sent through the cell layers once again. This way the currently highest efficiency ratio is achieved.

B. Extremely large solar spectrum

Depending on the daytime and weather conditions another solar spectrum is acting. Thanks to the Triple Cell Technology the SWISSSOLARCARDs are capable to utilize the whole solar spectrum. Accordingly the efficiency ratio is also much better in the morning/evening and with overcast weather.

C. Superior Efficiency ratio

There are not only optimal solar conditions. Light cloudiness, hot temperatures and steep sun radiation will reduce the efficiency ratio of solar cells. Exactly under these circumstances the SWISSSOLARCARD with Triple Junction Technology is superior to any Mono und Polycrystalline cells.
