Triple / Multi Junction technology
Three solar lattices (blue, red, green) optimized for the solar spectrum are being laminated to absorb solar energy by the best way possible. A reflecting silver foil on the inner back glances off the sunlight that was not yet converted into electrical energy sending it back through the cells. This results in up to 80% more solar electricity gained from the same surface size of a panel.

Tolerant towards shading and intense heat
Outdated, notably polycrystalline solar cells, need full sun and have to be placed into direct sunlight to operate in a proper way. There are also high efficiency losses caused by intense heat which is not uncommon at a hot, sunny day in the tropics or at an average summer day in Europe. The SWISSSOLARCARDs demonstrate their superiority by being the only solar solution on the market that still produces a reasonable amount of electricity at a combination of a shady, dark sky and a tiny panel size. A power loss / power drop at intense heat is almost not measurable.

Superior outdoor features:
Whatever is standard for permanent installations, should at least apply for portable photovoltaic cells. A solar powered charger belongs into the sun and is therefore exposed to the weather.
Coldness, heat, rain, snow, ice or even a hail strike may not damage or completely destroy the charger.
The SWISSSOLARCARDs are not only bendable, but also protected and sealed by a transparent coating of UV-stabilized Dupont polymers. This makes the SolarCard waterproof, climate-proof, gas-tight as well as suitable for all weather conditions. High temperatures do not affect the performance in a significant way. The extremely corrosion-resistant materials of all SIStech SolarCards are capable of withstanding the aggressive saltwater.

Their compact, space-saving design allows you to save a lot of valuable space within your equipment. Extremely thin silicone layers provide flexibility making SWISSSOLARCARDs lightweight and thin at the same time. The special seal coating out of Dupont’s UV-resistant polymers ensures long-lasting protection of the SolarCard without any usage of fragile glass.
