| Powertank L and XL - the mobile power reserve
is here, just in case…
|
|
 |
Mobile - small – light
- powerful
This is how we have always wanted mobile electronics: pocket size.
Today micro electronics offer almost unlimited possibilities.
Multiple possibilities in one single unit. High definition color
displays etc....

There’s nothing more
relaxing than enjoying the fresh air in free nature. The portable
GPS navigation system tells us the way, the digital camera
captures the most beautiful pictures and the mobile phone gives us
a feeling of security in case something would happen.
|
|
 |
How long does the battery last?
The biggest compromise with mobile electronics is always the power
supply. The continuous insecurity about remaining operation time
leads to stress and that shouldn’t be.
|
|
 |
Reserve for all cases
Being on the way in free nature with mobile electronics means
generally that there is no “filling station” in the form of a
power socket available. What is more self-evident than carrying a
reserve with you as a security?

The new POWERTANK from SIStech - SWISSBATTERIES
These power supply problems belong to the past. The new POWERTANKs take care of that. These mobile power sockets are
always ready to recharge low or even empty batteries of mobile
phones, iPod / MP3, GPS navigation systems, etc. The ultra light
Lithium-Ion Batteries have enough capacity to completely
recharge a couple of mobile phones.

Please consider the
following with a mobile power storage:
In
the product category not only the power (in mA/A) and the voltage (Volt)
is relevant, but especially the power output in / Milliwatt (W/mW)!
These is calculated by multiplication of Voltage and Power, i.e. for
example 5.5 Volt x 0.5 Ampere = 2.75 Watt.
Even
better and more honest is indicating the measurement of operation in
Watt-hours (Wh). One Watt-hour refers to the energy that the mobile
power storage can supply at one Watt per hour (and not only during a
short time).
|
Rule
of thumb:
|
For
the recharging of an empty mobile phone battery you rquire at
least 3 Wh.
The
charging for an AA Mignon battery requires approx. 4 Wh
The
charging for an AAA Micro battery requires approx. 1.8 Wh
Battery
capacity under 2000mAh are therefore not suitable.
